FOOD JUSTICE CONVERGENCE with CFJC

When: Saturday, March 1st ~ Potluck at 12 noon, Work session 1-5 pm

    SD Food Not Lawns, in collaboration with SD Roots Sustainable Food Project, the San Diego Hunger Coalition, and Tierra Miguel Farm/Foundation, invite you to help us hammer out a healthier food system in San Diego!
    The California Food and Justice Coalition -- a statewide coalition committed to the basic human right to healthy food -- is coming to town to help further engage San Diego in the movement for a food secure future! We hope you’ll come to the table to help us craft a statewide advocacy agenda and resource sharing network that serves our local communities!
    The purpose of this event is two-fold: To bring together local grassroots organizations and projects that are engaged in, or interested in launching, food security/food justice projects; And to connect San Diego with the larger advocacy agenda of CFJC and like-minded groups across California (because together, we are stronger!).
